In the state of Califonia, how you login into CalFresh depends on the county you live in.

Based on your county of residence, you may have to login to one of the following online portals to access your CalFresh account:

YourBenefitsNow portal (used by residents of Los Angeles County)

MyBenefits CalWIN portal (Used by 18 counties, including San Diego, Orange, Santa Clara, Sacramento, and Alameda Counties).

C4Yourself portal (used by residents of 37 counties, including San Bernardino and Riverside Counties)

In this article, we will walk you through how to login to YourBenefitsNow, MyBenefits CalWIN, and C4Yourself online portal. 

Also, in each case, we will list the counties that are approved to use each portal and walk you through how to sign in, including how to retrieve or reset a forgotten password.

YourBenefitsNow Account Login Help

Follow the instructions below for help logging in YourBenefitsNow online account.

California Counties Authorized to use YourBenefitsNow Online Portal

If you are new to the California YourBenefitsNow portal, the YourBenefitsNow website is used by Los Angeles County residents.

You can use it to apply for and manage government assistance programs such as California Food Stamps (CalFresh), CalWORKs, General Relief, and MediCal.

YourBenefitsNow Account Login Instructions

Follow the instructions below for help logging in YourBenefitsNow online account.

Step 1 – Visit YourBenefitsNow Website

The first step when completing the login for your YourBenefitsNow account is to visit the website. You can access the website here.

Once there, click on “Login to your account” as shown below.

Step 2 – Answer Prompt

Next, a page will open with a box, asking you if you remember your Customer ID/PIN or your Username/Password as shown below?

Click “Yes”, if you do.

However, if you do not remember them, click “No” for help.

Step 2 – Enter Username and Password

Next, you will be taken to the new page, where you can enter your sign-in credentials.

Enter your YourBenefitsNow account Username and Password.

When complete, click the “Sign In” button as shown below.

Step 4 – Accept Disclaimer

Once you have entered your login credentials successfully, you will be taken to the page below, where you will see a disclaimer from the DPSS.

Read the disclaimer and click “I Agree” in order to proceed to view your YourBenefitsNow account.

Step 5 – View your account

Once you have accepted the disclaimer, you will automatically be taken to your account, as shown by the image below.

Once you have logged in, there are a number of tasks you can perform from your account as stated above, including:

  • View details on your existing benefits
  • Start or continue an existing application
  • Check the status of an application you have already submitted
  • Schedule an appointment for a new application
  • Upload verification documents
  • See your Caseworker details
  • See eligibility information for CalFresh, CalWORKs, General Relief, and MediCal

Forgot Username and Password

If you do not remember your login credentials, follow the instructions below:

If you do not remember your username, when you are prompted at the beginning of the login process, answer “No” as shown below.

Next, You will then be taken to a page where you have to provide certain information to retrieve your username including:

  • EBT Number or Case Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Number or Zip Code

Once you provide the requested information, click “Continue” for further instructions on how to retrieve your username.

Forgot Password

On the login page, click on “Forget your password/PIN? Click here to reset your password/PIN” link as shown below.

Next, you will be taken to a page where you have to enter “Username/Customer ID”.

Enter the requested information and click on “Continue” for further instructions on how to reset your password as shown below:

Not all counties in California use the MyBenefits CalWIN online portal to apply for benefits.

MyBenefits CalWIN Login Instructions

Follow the instructions below for help logging in MyBenefits CalWIN online account.

Step 1 – Visit MyBenefits CalWIN Account Website

To start the login process for your MyBenefits CalWIN, visit the MyBenefits CalWIN website at www.mybenefitscalwin.org.

Once you are on the homepage you will need to locate the “Sign In” button, which is usually at the top part of the site (see image below).

Click on the “Sign In” button to proceed with the process, as shown below.

Step 2 – Enter username

Next, you will be taken to a page where you will be required to enter your account username, as shown below.

You will have to enter a valid username in order to proceed to the password page.

Once you enter the correct username, click “Next” to continue, as shown by the image below.

Step 3 – Enter username

If you entered the correct username, you will be taken to the password page, with the sign-in image/picture you selected showing.

Make sure the picture is the one you picked.

Once you enter your password, click the “Sign In” button as shown below.

Step 4 – View your account

If you entered the correct password, you will be automatically taken to your MyBenefits CalWIN account page.

Once there, you can perform a variety of tasks as listed above, including:

  • See if you are eligible for benefits
  • Apply for Benefits
  • View or Continue an Application
  • Learn about Affordable Health Insurance

Forgot Username and Password

If you do not remember your login credentials, follow the instructions below:

If you do not remember your username, click on the “Forgot Username?” link, as shown below.

Next, You will then be taken to a page where you have to provide your email address to retrieve your username.

Enter your email address in the space provided, then click “Submit”. You will receive an email with instructions about your username.

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link as shown in the image below.

This link will only be revealed once you have successfully entered your username at the login page.

Next, you will be taken to the page below where you will have to answer one of the secret questions you selected when you signed up for your MyBenefits CalWIN account.

Provide the answer to the question in the space provided and click “Submit” for further instructions on how to retrieve your password.

Here’s how to login to your C4Yourself online account:

Step 1 – Visit C4Yourself Website

The first step to login into your C4Yourself account is to visit the C4Yourself website at www.c4yourself.com.

Once there, locate the “Log In” link, as shown by the image below.

Step 2 – Enter User Name and Password

In the next step of the login process, you will be taken to a page where you will be required to enter your login credentials (username and password).

Enter the requested information and click “Next”.

Step 3 – View your account

If you entered the correct User Name and Password, you will be taken to your C4Yourself account page where you can perform tasks from your account as stated above, including:

  • View details on your existing benefits
  • Start or continue an existing application
  • Check the status of an application you have already submitted
  • Schedule an appointment for a new application
  • Upload verification documents
