San Diego: Free Turkey Giveaways & Thanksgiving Dinner (2022)

The holidays can be a financially stressful time for anyone, but even more so this year due to inflation and the rising cost of food. While some are fortunate enough to fill their table with an indulgent dinner spread, many families in the San Diego area are struggling to make ends meet. In fact, a record number of people in San Diego are facing food insecurity this holiday season. For those who are barely meeting their basic needs, the holiday season is a harsh reminder of how little support is provided to low-income households.
